Break Tank Controllers

For water treatment systems with inconsistent or inadequate flow rates to support the typical thirty gallon per minute requirement, a break tank is a must. The Break Tank itself is used to store enough water to compensate for the lack of flow to support the system in times of flow requirement. To enable flow and to prevent the break tank from overflowing, the BT Controller allows automatic control of flow based on tank levels. The BT Controller uses two float level switches to determine tank levels, and will open a fill solenoid when the water level drops below the “On Level Float” and will disable flow once the tank reaches the “Off Level Float.” This controller can also be overridden in manual mode allowing the user to flip a switch and open the fill solenoid, thereby bypassing the float signals
