Hurricane Filter Systems

Hurricane filtration units are a specialty filter sometimes found in today’s central water purification systems. Typically installed in areas with elevated SDI, a measure of the fouling potential of suspended solids. The goal of the hurricane filter is to utilize its cyclonic up flow design to mitigate the elevated suspended solids, thus protecting the membranes of reverse osmosis systems that are downstream.
