Multimedia Sediment Filters
Multimedia sediment filtration systems are a time proven technology to aid in removing large particulates, five to fifteen microns and larger, from supply water. Multimedia sediment filtrations derive their name from the multiple layers of varying media progressing from course filtration to successively finer media generating a particulate trap. Using fiberglass reinforced pressure vessels for the containment of this media allows the booster pump systems to use forced filtration to produce filtered water that proceeds through the series to the next filtration system.
